these gems you wear, this gaze.
I dreamt my youth away believing completion was found with another. After heartbreak with lovers, morphed the longing onto children. If a baby born and bred from my own pulse and flesh could not complete me, then what could? Drifting through each day gaping raw and unbandaged. I bleed and I bleed everywhere I step.
Everywhere I step, I see your shadow pass like a flickering light in the night.
See me. See me watch you in reverie, in hopeless abandon. I crave what you have become.
I crave also Thanatos. To die in light, and to die in shadow. Smoke consumes the corridor of speech. I do this again, unable to breathe. The only passageway I suffocate in despair. I am tired of eyes that cry with grief. Let me shed tears of the kind you know so intimately and secretly. Share with me your dances with Divine.
